Yesterday, my daughter and I started our traditional holiday baking, and I forgot how much people enjoy receiving homemade edibles from neighbors, friends and family! Instead of spending a lot of money this year, how about make homemade holiday treats?
Here’s one from the archives…

By now you are probably hustling and bustling trying to get your last minute gifts for family, friends, plan Christmas dinner and wrap gifts! Did I miss anything? Oh yes! The neighbors, the babysitter, the mail person, the gardener, and your beautician! Did you forget to get them a gift, or would you prefer for it to be something special and homemade?
How about making Christmas goodies that are easy that you can give as gifts? They will be appreciated more because they came from your home! Southern Living has some wonderful recipes, try them out and let me know what you think? I just made cookies last night!
