Have you thought about hosting a holiday party but don’t know where to start? If you are in college, or any other age, you should think about throwing a holiday cookie party! Have you ever heard of a holiday cookie party? The idea is very simple, you invite a bunch of friends and every friend bakes a batch of cookies. You trade the cookies, and the recipes, At the end of the party, you have tons of cookies recipes, and tons of cookies. If you are looking to host a simple holiday party, a cookie party may be the party for you to host. If you are unsure of how to host a cookie party, here are the steps of how to do it.

1. Decide who to invite

You will want to invite people that will have good cookie recipes. The point of the party is to have yummy cookies. Invite people that you will have a good time with.

2. Make the invitations

Make sure that you make the invitations very clear. You want your guests to know that they should bring a dozen (or more) of the cookie that they want to share. It may also be a good idea to ask your guests to print copies of their cookie so they can exchange them with other guests.

3. Make sure that your apartment (or home) is clean and clear of clutter the day of the party

You don’t want your guests bringing cookies to a smelly abode!

4. Bake your cookies right before your guests come

This will leave your home smelling of yummy cookies.

5. Have lots of milk

Plan to have a lot of milk because cookies don’t taste good without a cold glass of milk to wash it down!

6. Have a cute party favor.

Buy your guests inexpensive cookie cutters. Fill the cookie cutters with fudge. Wrap the cookie cutters in pretty cellophane wrap. This is a great gift idea for your guests.

Cookie parties can be very fun. They are a great, low-key party that focuses more on the visiting aspect than the hosting aspect. It is fun to see what cookies your friends and family bring. Some bring really crazy cookies, while others bring great variations on cookie classics. Cookie parties are a great way to get started with the holiday season, and also a great way to get some great cookie recipes!
